Deserters from His Majesty’s Service.
From H.M.S. “ Mildura ,” at Sydney. On 23rd April, 1903. W. H. Keat, A .8., twenty-three years of age a native of England, 5 ft. 7Jin. high, light-brown hair, blue eyes, fair complexion. A reward of £3 will be paid for his apprehension.
(See Police Gazette, 1901, page 233.) John McCarthy, deserter from H.M.S. “Archer” at Lyttelton, has returned to his ship.
(See Police Gazette, 1903, page 93.) William John Clark, deserter from H.M.S. “ Archer,” has been arrested by Constables P. J. Dunn and P. J. Brown, Ponsonby police.
(See Police Gazette, 1903, page 76.) William R. Golding, deserter from H.M.S. “ Ringarooma,” has been arrested by Constable J. W. Hollis, Auckland police.
