Auckland.-— Gy bran Hannah, draper and jeweller, Victoria Street, reports that on the 10th ultimo his shop was broken into, and the following stolen: five 15-carat gold band rings set with two opals and one ruby, four 15-carat gold band rings set with one ruby, seven 9-carat band rings set with three opals, three 9-carat gold band rings, set with one opal, four 9-carat wedding-rings, an 18-carat wedding-ring, two 18-carat gold keepers, three greenstone anchor brooches mounted in 15-carat gold, two greenstone bar broochesjwith gold fern in centre, a 9-carat round gold medal (bird on one side and

bicycle on the other), three silver chains (cable pattern, one single and two double), two rolled-gold single chains, three greenstone battle-axe brooches mounted in gold ; value, about £SO.

Auckland. —Hugh Gilmore draper, Manukau Eoad, reports that on the 13th ultimo his premises were broken into, and the following stolen: About thirty £1 notes, and a cheque on the Bank of New Zealand for £8 2s. 6d. drawn by Ethel McCullough in favour of Martha Pratt.
