Extract from South Australian Police Gazette.

(From Gazette, 1903, page 34.) Unclaimed Fortune. —lnquiries are being made at Mold (“ presumably in Wales ”) in the hope of discovering the next-of-kin of William Jones, a native of Wales, who, fifty-two years ago, emigrated to Australia, where he died intestate on 13th March last. Jones was a bachelor, left an estate valued for duty at over $37,415, and the Australian Courts have decided that administration shall not be proceeded with for seven months, pending the result of the inquiries for the next-of-kin. Some of the relatives of the deceased are supposed to have resided in the Mold district. J. G. Jenkins, Chief Secretary. 26th February, 1903. The above is published for general information. 27/2/03. L. G. Madley, -Commisioner of Police.
