Absentees from His Majesty’s Service.
From H.M.S. “ Torch," at Auckland. On 12th October, 1901. Frank Jones, signalman, a native of England, nineteen years of age, about 5 ft. 5 in. high, fair freckled complexion, blue eyes.
Frederick Dale, marine private, born in England, twenty-one years of age, about 5 ft. 5£ in. high, fair hair, blue eyes, fair complexion ; dressed in blue-serge suit. A reward of £1 is offered for the apprehension of Jones ; and £5 for Dale—his arrest is important, as he is suspected of theft of money and a light-brown tweed suit of clothes from the ship.
