Cox, No. 714, Mount Cook police, have been awarded £3 10s. and £4 10s. respectively for arresting William Beeoham, a deserter from H.M.S. “ Archer.” (01/1549.) Constable D. D. Hutton, No. 570, Johnsonville police, has been awarded £5 for services in obtaining the conviction of T. Bould for sly-grog selling. (01/1584.) Constable A. It is requested that the above forms may be used by all members of the Force when obtaining receipts in support of their claims for travelling or other expenses. Care is to be taken that each sub-voucher is numbered, and the number inserted in the proper column on the voucher to which it is attached ; also, that the amount of each sub-voucher is set forth by itself. Requisitions must not be treated as subvouchers.
