Supreme Court Criminal Sittings, 1901.

Criminal sittings of the Supreme Court for the year 1901 have been fixed as follows : (Vide New Zealand Gazette, 1900, pages 2083-2085.) New Plymouth, on the following days, at 11 a.m.:— Wednesday, 20th February. Wednesday, 2nd October. Gisborne, on the following days, at 10.30 a.m.:— Thursday, 25th April. Thursday, sth September. Wellington, on the following days, at 10.30 a.m.:— Monday, 4th February. Monday, 6th May. Monday, 12th August. Monday, 2nd December. Wanganui, on the following days, at 11 a.m. : Monday, 25th February. Monday, 10th June. Monday, 30th September. Napier, on the following days, at 10.30 a.m.:— Monday, 11th February. Monday, 27th May. Monday, 16th September. Christchurch, on the following days, at 11 a.m.:— Monday, 11th February. Monday, 20th May. Monday, sth August. Monday, 11th November. Nelson, on the following days, at 10.30 a.m.: — Tuesday, sth March. Wednesday, 26th June. Wednesday, 20th November. Hokitika, on the following days, at 11 a.m.: — Monday, 4th March. Monday, 2nd September. If any of the days above appointed for sittings should be a public holiday, the sittings will commence on the first day after the day so appointed which is not a holiday.

District Courts Criminal Sittings. Criminal sittings of the District Courts have been fixed as follows: — (Vide New Zealand Gazette, 1900, pages 2184 and 2185.) New Plymouth, on the second Wednesday in February, and the third Wednesday in May, August, and November in every year. Hawera, on the first Tuesday in February, May, August, and November in every year. Wanganui, on the third Monday in January, April, July, and October in every year. Palmerston North, on the second Wednesday in March, June, and September, and the first Tuesday in December, in every year. (Vide New Zealand Gazette, 1900, page 2185.) Masterton, on the last Wednesday in March, June, and September, and the second Thursday in December, in every year.

Provided that in oase any of the days so fixed as aforesaid shall happen to be a holiday, then the Court appointed for that day shall be holden on the first day thereafter not being a holiday.
