Escaped Lunatics.
John Cameron escaped from the Seacliff Asylum on the 17th instant. Description: Scotch, thirty-six years of age, 5 ft. 7 in. high, fair hair and oomplexion, full reddish beard and moustache; dressed in a moleskin suit marked with a triangle, tweed hat, and blucher boots ; quier. manner. He was committed from Balclutha on the 23rd March, 1896. His father formerly resided at Nenthorn, but is now on the Bushy Park Estate, Shag Valley.
Charles Gilbertson escaped from the Porirua Asylum on the 24th instant. Description: Thirty-nine years of age, 5 ft. 6 in. high, fair complexion, ginger whiskers ; dressed in a white-moleskin suit. He was committed from Wanganui, and is supposed to have returned there, via Wairarapa.
