Wellington. Lewis Fredrickson, fisherman, reports stolen from his boat in Oriental Bay, on the Ist or 2nd instant, a pair of paddles, marked “ L.F.” on blades ; a pair of rowlocks, a mainsail, and a jigger ; value, £1 14s. 6d.

Blenheim. William Nicoll, carpenter, reports stolen from a stable at Springlands, on the 27th ultimo, a silver Rotheram hunting - watch, No. 29201, with short double white-metal chain attached ; value, £5 2s. 6d.

Blenheim. —Michael Joseph Butler, dredge - master, Canvastown, reports stolen from the Criterion Stables, Blenheim, between the 2nd and 7th instant, a brown-paper parcel, containing a pair of English check-tweed trousers and vest; to match, light-brownish colour with red and greenish stripes forming the check, trousers have no straps, but a tape is sewn inside to hang them up by; a thick greyflannel shirt, a white shirt, two or three linen collars, size 15£ ; and two valise-straps, marked “ M. A native of New Zealand (German parentage), a labourer, twenty-six years of age, 5 ft. 10 in. or 11 in. high, fair complexion, round face, shaved except moustache, stutters. He left for Palmerston North during the above month, and may have taken a situation together with his wife.

Dunedin. —The Hon. Thomas Fergus, Royal Terrace, reports stolen from a case in an outhouse, between the 19th ultimo and the 13th instant, twelve table-spoons and forks, twelve dessert-spoons, twelve tea-spoons, six egg- and saltspoons with gilt bowls, eighteen mustard-spoons with gilt bowls, two sauce-ladles, a soup-ladle, gravy-spoon, and pair of sugar-tongs, all eleotroplated, spoons marked “ A,” and initialled “E.M.D. also twelve ivory-handled tableknives, “ E. M. Dickenson ” and a screw on blades : value, in all, £2O. Identification doubtful.

Port Chalmers.— Horatio Gordon, master, tug “ Koputai,” reports stolen from his cabin, between the 18th and 21st ultimo, a pair of binocular glasses, about 7 in. long, value, £2 10s. Identifiable by general appearance.
