Paeroa. —John Munday, charged with the theft of Joshua William Tettley’s gelding, has been arrested by Native Constable Ahipene Mika, Tuparoa police, and remanded to Paeroa by the Port Awanui Bench.

Waipawa.— William George El ford’s horse, saddle, and bridle have been found by Constable Drake at Norsewood, and a warrant has been issued by the Waipawa Bench for the arrest of Peter Pedersen, alias Jac bson, for stealing the saddle and bridle, value £3, be having sold these articles. Further description of offender: About forty years of age, 5 ft. 6 m. high, stout and well built, fair flushed complexion, peculiar expression about eyes, fair hair beard whiskers and moustache; dressed in a serge coat and vest, light-tweed trousers, and hard black-felt hat. The horse was left by the offender at the June!ion Hotel, Norsewood,
Hawera. —Herbert Anderson Williams, farmer, Okaiawa, reports stolen, on the 7th or Bth instant, a chestnut gelding, aged, about hands high, white blaze down face, branded O on near shoulder, old sore-mark on wither and one on back, in poor condition; value, £ll.
