Devonport (Auckland). —Henry Alfred Home Monro, gentleman, Lake stolen from a paddock, on the 16th or 71h ii 1 tJnp|yA dark-bay carriage-horse, black points, five l4 branded 0 behind near shoulder, white patch on nose, two small white spots on near side of wither , value, £l4.

Pukekohe (Auckland). Esther Waugh, Paparata, reports stolen from a paddock, on the 21st instant, a light-bay draught gelding, 15£ hands high, white blaze on face, no shoes, small mark of an old cut on near breast; value, £2O. Suspicion attached to William Ford and George Henry Watson, who were recently in complainant’s employ. Ford is a native of Auckland, twenty-one years of age, sft. 6in. high, medium build, light-brown hair, small light moustache only ; dressed in grey clothes and grey-cloth hat. Watson is a colonial, twenty-four years of age, sft. Bin. high, slender build, dark hair and small dark moustache; wore a dark coat and vest, bluish pants, yellow leggings, low black silky hat, and goggles.

Wanganui. —Jessie Dallas, storekeeper, reports stolen from a paddock in Liverpool Street, on the 15th ultimo, a grey gelding, hack breed, five years old, 14 hands lin. or 2in. high, mark of an old cut on near hind fetlock, no brands, runs in harness; value, £lO. It is thought to have been taken by some swagger.
