Infanticide.
Wellington. — On the 15th ultimo the dead body of a newly-born male child was found in the Wellington Harbour by a boy named Frederick Onyon. The medical evidence adduced at the inquest showed that the child was born alive, and had not been dead more than forty-eight hours, and the jury returned a verdict of “Wilful murder,” against some person or persons unknown. The body had no covering on, and was doubled up in an old dark-brown canvas kit.
