Edward Johnston Murdoch, No. 610. Transferred to Prisons Department. Constable Charles Parker, No. 520. Rewards. Sergeant J. Cullen, No. 194, and Constable J. Shearman, No. 534, Wanganui police, have been awarded £3 and £2 respectively for services in obtaining the conviction of C. Ashwin for sly grog-selling at Karioi. (95/420.) Constable P. J. Herlihy, No. 367, Waikaia police, has been awarded £2 for obtaining the conviction of Yong Ying, fined £lO and costs for sly grog-selling. (95/351.)
