Constable J. Burrows, No. 497, Invercargill Police, has been awarded 10s. by the Customs Department for services in securing a conviction for a breach of the Beer Duty Act, at Cromarty, on 28th May last. (94/395.)
Detective L. D. Benjamin, No. 208, Christchurch Police, has been awarded £3 by the Customs Department for services rendered in securing the conviction of Peter Pasche for smuggling jewellery on the 9th instant. (94/395.)
