Amending Regulation No. 2, Trout- and Perch-fishing, Wellington Acclimatisation District.
GLASGOW, Governor. ORDER IN COUNCIL. At the Government House, at Wellington, this twelfth day of January, 1893. Present: His Excellency the Governor in Council. TTTHEREAS by an Order in Council dated the twentyVV third day of September, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-one, and published in the Neio Zealand Gazette of the twenty-fourth day of tho same month, certain regulations were made under “The Fisheries Conservation Act, 1884,” providing for trout- and perch-fishing in the Wellington Acclimatisation District,:
And whereas it is expedient to amend number two of the said regulations : Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, acting by and with tho advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, and in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by “ The Fisheries Conservation Act, 1854,” and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in that behalf, doth hereby amend tho said regulation number two, by adding tho following words thereto:— “ Provided, moreover, that it shall bo lawful for the said Secretary or his Deputy, on or after the twentieth day of December, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-two, to issue licenses to men for the sum of twelve shillings and sixpence.” Alex.
