Christchurch. —James Darnell is charged on warrant with failing to supply his wife, Sophy Darnell, with adequate means of support, since the 4th February last. Description: English, a storeman, thirty-eight years of age, sft. s|in. high, slight build, fresh complexion, black hair, brown eyes, dark side whiskers and moustache, chin usually shaved, an upper front tooth out, scar on back. (See also Police Gazette, 189 d, page 205.) He went to the North Island in January last.
