Inglewood (Taranaki). —Michael McMahon, Bristol Road ) reports stolen, about the 13th ultimo, a red yearling steer > branded MM on off rump, white spot on forehead and each side, half-circle cut out of lower part of off ear ; a srrfall white bull, nine months old, neck red ; and a red heifer, same age, white stripe along back, white belly and face; value £6.
Auckland. —Ehirry Duvall, East Tamaki, reports stolen, from Epsomjhoiy the 7th instant, a dark-grey horse, slr*!* roflafj9l4 3in. high, branded J_ on off shoulder,; “had on/anjold 'sifddlc and cheap bridle, the latter little worn ; value £2O.
Roxburgh. —H. H. Heron, hotelkeeper, reports stolen at Roxburgh East, about the 20th ultimo, a red-and-white bullock, six years old, branded lIH on rump, large wide horns (one of them broken, and bent inwards), in good condition ; value £B. Slight suspicion is attached to William Bain, living at Coal Creek.
(See Police Gazette, 1892, pages 18 and 88.) Alexander Gillies, charged with stealing Frederick Budd’s horse, has been arrested by Detective T. Livingstone, Timaru Police, and remanded to Masterton. Case dismissed.
Dunedin. William Bejavick, Parksidc, Caversham, reports stolen, on the 3rd iiratant, and Ayrshire cross, seven white cloudy streak oiveach side, ha's the shell of outside spur on near fore leg; value £7.
(See Police Gazette, 1892, page 88.) Kamo.—Stealing Arthur Hanson’s horse: The suspect, Charles Linds (not Lynn, as previously gazetted), has been arrested by Constable J. A. Abrams, Waipu Police, on information supplied by Constable F. A. Moore, Kamo. Complainant’s name is now reported as Walter Hansen. Horse recovered, and offender committed for trial.
Leeston. William Bishop, Bishop’s Corner, reports stolen, on the 20th or 21st instant, a red cow, about five years old, rather dark nose, a fejffwhite* scattered over body, unbranded ; value £7. ///
