(See Police Gazette, 1892, page 70.) John O’Brien, alias Sherlock, alias Sharkey, is working at Mr. William Kirkland’s farm, East Taieri.

Re Mrs. Corrigan : Mr. Moffatt (now of Mount Parnassus) states that this missing friend was housekeeping for him during his management of a station at Wakanui Creek, Ashburton, and left there in July, 1873, accompanied by a shepherd named William Duff, to whom she was to be married. They are said to have been subsequently in Otago, but efforts to trace them have so far been unsuccessful. Further inquiries are requested. (C.S. 91/2413.)
