Auckland. —Stolen between the 25th and 27th ultimo, from a yard in Customs Street West, two copper rudderbands, 2ft. and 16in. long respectively; value £2; the property of James Sims, George Street, Ponsonby. Identifiable.

Stolen between the 17th and 19tli ultimo, from a clothes-line in the yard of the Wallace County Hotel, twelve white-canvas aprons, some with plain pink bands round the bottoms, two calico pillow-cases trimmed with white lace, four plain pillow-cases, three calico sheets, and a white linen table-cloth ; value £1 95.; the property of Edward William Smoothy, licensee. Aprons and pillowcases identifiable.

New Plymouth. —Stolen on the 27th or 28th ultimo, from George St. George’s fowlhouse, Liardet Street, New Plymouth, a black-spanish cock, two hens, and a pullet; value 6s. Identifiable.

Ahaura. Stolen on the 22nd ultimo, from Murphy’s stables, a colonial-made saddle, hogskin seat, knee- and thigh-pads rather large and sewn all round, solid-leather flaps, nails stamped “Jones, Nelson,” or “Dunbar, Christchurch,” double staples and two Ds round cantle, two webgirths, thick-felt saddle-cloth, and square three-bar irons; value £4; the property of Thomas Williams, of Reefton. Suspicion attached to William Medhurst, residing at Ahaura.

Akaroa. —Alice Laing, passenger per s.s. “ Rotorua ” from Wellington to Lyttelton, reports stolen at the latter port, on the 3rd instant, from a hand-bag in the ladies’ cabin, a £5 note, bank and number unknown.

Opiiir. —Stolen on the Ist instant, from a clothes-line, a white-linen petticoat, tucked and embroidered; value 10s. ; the property of Mary Wilkinson. Identifiable.
