Dismissal. Constable John Coffey, No. 569
Death. Constable Richard Willis, No. 167.
Rewards. Sergeant J. O’Malley and Constable T. J. McCormack, Lyttelton Police, have been awarded £1 each for placing refractory seamen on board the s.s. “Tongariro.” (91/1845.)
Sergeant A. Clarke, Auckland Police, has been awarded £2 by the Devonport Steam-ferry Company for services rendered in assisting to secure their steamer “ Victoria ” when she was cast adrift. (91/1873.) Sergeant A. Clarke and Constable E. Mackay, Auckland Police, have been awarded £1 each for arresting two stragglers from H.M.S. “ Ringarooma.” (91/1875.) The Customs Department has awarded Detective T. Livingstone, Timaru Police, the sum of £2 for services in connection with the seizure of 401 b. of tobacco, ex “ Ganymede,” on the 17th August last. (91/1876.)
