Warrant issued for arrest of Edward Newdigate Newbury, late accountant of the Lands Titles Office, Adelaide —age about forty-two years, height sft. Bin. or 9in., fair complexion, light hair thin on top, fair moustache only, blue eyes, straight nose, square shoulders, well built, about 12 stone weight, throws his chest well forward and his right hand out from his side when walking, and carries his head very erect; wore light-tweed trousers and vest, a black-alpaca coat, and black hard hat—for embezzling the sum of £lO6 4s. from Her Majesty’s Government on the 13th instant. [ This offender is supposed to have left Sydney for New Zealand about the 20th ultimo. Special inquiries are requested. Arrest very important. (91/181.)1
