Stolen between the 14th and 22nd ultimo, from an unoccupied house at Waikaia Valley, Otago, a mattress-cover, made of common ticking ; a carriage-rug, black sealskin on one side and bright rainbow colours on the other side, about half-worn; a china soup-tureen, two gilt framed pictures, Kaikoura scenery; Gib. of sugar, and lib. of tea ; the property of Robert Hutton; value £3 14s. Identifiable, except tea and sugar.

Stolen between the 7th and 21st ultimo, from the rail-way-station, Kaukapakapa, Auckland District, a timber-jack, spear ground underneath, a piece broken out of the top of the front guide-plate ; the property of Donald McGregor and Wiiliam Stokes; value £7. Identifiable.

Stolen on the 24th or 25th ultimo, from a clothes-line in the yard of Charles Ernest Hows, Nelson Street, Auckland, a pair of new grey woollen socks, a pair of new black-merino stockings (boys’ size), a ladies’ night-dress with tucks in front and fancy needlework on cuffs and neck, and a twillcotton sheet; value 7s. Night-dress and sheet identifiable.

Stolen on the 28tli ultimo, from a trap at Ashburton, a double-breasted greyish-blue overcoat, smooth surface, the buttons on one side off, two outside pockets with flaps, an inside breast-pocket, may have a small ticket-pocket on right side, the bottom of one of the outside pockets has been torn and lately mended ; and a medium-sized white woollen knitted shawl with slight stains of red on it, honeycomb pattern; the property of Thomas Langley ; value £4.
