Missing Friends.
(See Police Gazette, 1889, pages 97 and 127.) Frederick Schultze has been found at Blenheim
(See Police Gazette, 1889, page 110.) Mary Cecila Counsel and the child Ethel Winchester have been found at Dunedin.
Information is requested respecting James Hogg, a native of the colony, a labourer, twenty-one years of age, sft. 7in. high, medium build, thin darkish-brown beard whiskers and moustache; dressed in dark coat and light-tweed trousers. He loft his home at Killinchy, Canterbury, about 8 p.m. on the 2nd instant, and has not since been heard of. He is inquired for at the instance of his parents, who are ver anxious respecting him.
Special inquiry is requested to be made for John Sanders, about thirty years of age, about sft. Sin. high, stout build, fair complexion, fair hair beard whiskers and moustache ; generally wears light-tweed suit and hard black hat. He was seen at Oamaru on the 29th ultimo. Thomas Cooper, awaiting trial at the sittings of the Supreme Court to be held at Oamaru on the 10th September next, on a charge of forgery, says that he received the forged document from Sanders, at Oamaru, on the 29th ultimo ; it is, therefore, of the utmost importance that Sanders should be found. Any information obtained respecting him to be supplied to the Inspector of Police, Oamaru.
(See Police Gazette, 1888, pages 121, 128, 136,145, 153, and 160.) Frederick Fountain was seen at Foxton on the 10th and 11th instant. He was recently employed at Messrs. Hoe and Galton’s flax-mill, Oroua Downs Station, near Foxton.
