C. T. E. Gibson is charged on warrant with larceny as a servant of £l9 7s. 6d. from the National Bank, Tungamah, on the Bth instant. Description : English, a bank clerk, about twenty-four years of age, sft. lOin. high, slight build, fair complexion, slightly freckled, blue eyes, light-brown hair, slight fair moustache onty; wore black-beaufort coat, light greyish-brown trousers, and brown hard-felt hat. Left Tungamah for Melbourne on the 9th instant, but has not been seen since. He was teller in the Tungamah Branch, and it is believed he has stolen other sums besides that specified in the information. —0. 2885, 31st March, 1889. C. T. E. Gibson, larceny as a servant of the National Bank of Australasia : The warrant in this case charges the offender with embezzling, as a servant, £l9 7s. 6d. It has been ascertained that the offender has, while acting as receiving teller, converted to his own use £BSO of the moneys of the bank, which had been paid in by customers. Amongst the moneys thus paid in were two £IOO notes on the Colonial Bank, Melbourne. His face is described as attenuated, and his eyes sunken. His teeth are peculiar, as he has a double row in the lower jaw. Gibson was a blue-school boy in England prior to his arrival in Australia. £750 Reward.—Arthur Edward Bold Hornbuckle is charged on warrant with larceny, as a servant, of £2,200 from the Prahran Branch of the Bank of Yictoria, on the 18tli instant. Description: Victorian, clerk, twenty-five years of age, sft. Bin. high, slender build, dark sallow complexion, dark moustache and small dark side whiskers, dark muddy eyes, dark shade under eyes ; generally wears a greytweed sac-suit and soft-felt hat; quiet gentlemanly demeanour. Offender was accountant at Prahran Branch, Melbourne. The Board of Directors guarantee a reward of £250 on the offender’s arrest and conviction, and £SOO on the recovery of the amount stolen, or a proportionate reward on the recovery of a lesser amount.
