Stolen between the 2nd and 6th ultimo, from the clothesline of Laurie Solomon, Hobson Street, Auckland, an old white-flannel petticoat, a baby’s turkey-red twilled frock nearly new, two babies’ flannel petticoats, and a man’s white-flannel shirt nearly new ; value 10s. Baby’s frock identifiable.
Stolen on the 27th or 28th ultimo, from the Carriers’ Arms Hotel stables, Dee Street, Invercargill, a nearly-new colonial-made saddle with leather girth, a spur tied to one of the stirrups, value £3; a nearly-new plain snaffle-bridle with a small patch on one rein near the centre where it had been nearly cut through, value 10s ; and a well-worn brown single-breasted tweed overcoat, small-plaid pattern, two hippockets and an outside breast-pocket, value £1 55.; the property of Francis Forde. Stolen on the 18th or 19th ultimo, from a gravel-pit at Colac Bay, Southland, a long-handle shovel, not much worn, a cross cut with a knife on top of handle, and a pick-handle ; the property of Richard Greer ; value ss. Identifiable.
Stolen on the 25th or 26th ultimo, from the clothes-line of David Heffernan, Kaikorai Valley, near Dunedin, a white honey-comb bed-quilt with a small stain in centre, value 18s. 6d.; and a pillow-case, value 2s. Bed-quilt identifiable.
