Missing Friend. Elwood, farmer, of Ardrossan, Y.P., who arrived at Port Adelaide by the s.s. “ James Comrie,” about a month since, from the above district, whither he was expected to return in a week, but has not since been heard of. He was possessed of about £2O cash, a silver English lever watch, No. 48877, and was wearing, when last seen, a brown-check tweed suit. He is described as about twenty-five years old, sft. lOin. high, thick-set figure with slight stoop, fair with slight whiskers and beard, and small moustache, light-brown straight hair, blue eyes, high cheek-bones, tooth missing in front, North Country accent.—G. 1184. [lnquiries are requested to be made for this man, as it is thought he may have come to New Zealand.]
