Extract from Queensland Police Gazette.

(From Gazette , 1888, page 195.) Information is requested concerning the present whereabouts of George Francis Feltham, a native of Hertfordshire, England, a tailor, thirty-eight years of age, sft. lOJin. high, sallow complexion, dark-brown hair (thin on top of head), dark side whiskers and moustache, shaves on chin, grey eyes, regular nose, thick lips, large front teeth. He arrived in Melbourne per ship “ Cambrian Prince” on the 17th January, 1887, under the name of George Stewart, and described himself as a draper. He subsequently left Melbourne for Dunedin, New Zealand, where a younger brother of his, named Alfred Francis Feltham, was employed as cutter for Messrs. Bryan, Ewing, and Co., tailors. It was rumoured that he returned to Melbourne, but that is believed to be untrue. Inquiries instituted at the instance of his wife, Emma Francis, care of Mr. Phillips, Deshon Estate, Logan Hoad.
