Frank Nicholson is charged, on warrant issued by the Auckland Bench, with having, on the 17th February last, at Auckland, obtained 18s. from William Henry Cranswick by means of a valueless cheque. Description : English, a commission agent, about thirty years of age, sft. 7in. orßin. high, fair complexion, fair hair inclined to be sandy, cleanshaved except large reddish moustache, which is generally kept well waxed; when last seen wore grey-tweed frock-coat and vest, light check or plaid trousers, and elastic-side boots with blue-cloth or tweed tops. He is supposed to have gone to Helensville or Waikato. He issued fifteen other valueless cheques.
George Inglis is charged, on warrant issued by the Wellington Bench, with having, about four months ago, at Mitcheltown, near Wellington, committed a breach of “ The Bankruptcy Act, 1883,” section 171, subsection (6). Description : English, a butcher, about thirty years of age, about sft. sin. high, stout-build, light-brown hair, fair moustache, fair fresh complexion, very red cheeks, blue eyes; bow-legged, walks with his toes very much turned in, and with a quick, rolling gait. Supposed gone to Nelson or Feilding.
On the 13th or 14th ultimo, at Awanui, Auckland District, four gates, value £4, the property of John Anton Subritzky, were maliciously broken.

Thomas Gibson, charged on warrants with forgery with intent to defraud the Petone Town District Board, has been arrested by Acting-Sergeant Henry Green, Balclutha Police, and remanded to Wellington.
Edward Burke is charged, on warrant issued by the Featherston Bench, with having, on the 23rd ultimo, at Featherston, threatened to do bodily harm to Simon Chisholm. Description: A native of the North of Ireland, a labourer, thirty-seven years of age, 6ft. 2in. high, medium build, dark complexion, dark hair, short dark beard whiskers and moustache, slightly stooped. He formerly belonged to the Royal Horse Artillery. He is supposed to have gone to Ashburton.
