Missing Friends.

Information is requested respecting Samuel Walker Anderson, late of Worksop, Lincolnshire. He left England about eighteen months ago for this colony, and is now supposed to be sheep-farming. He is inquired for at the instance of Alfred C. Wood, care of Messrs. Macpherson and Miskin, solicitors, Brisbane.

Amended description of Alexander Murchison: A native of Geelong, Victoria, a carpenter, thirty-one years of age, sft. Sin. high, fair complexion, fair hair and moustache. He was heard of at Christchurch four years ago, and is known to G. Adcock, of that place. He spoke of going to Sydney.

Special inquiry is requested to be made for George Woollens or Woollings, so that he may be subpoenaed as a witness in the case of Regina v. Pepperill, sheep-stealing, for hearing at the Supreme Court, Wanganui, on the 13th April next. Description: A native of Sydney, English parentage, a butcher, about twenty-six years of age, sft. Sin. or 9in. high, medium build, dark complexion, thin pointed nose, side whiskers. He was seen at Paikakariki in December last, when he spoke of going to Napier. It is said a brother of his keeps a publichouse between Woodville and Napier, and that another brother ef his is employed on a station at Patea, Hawke’s Bay District.
