Samuel Corney is charged, on warrant issued by the New Plymouth Bench, with disobeying an order to pay 15s. per week towards the support of his children. Description : English, a cabinetmaker, thirty-two years of age, 5 feet G£ inches high, medium build, dark complexion, dark-brown hair beard whiskers and moustache, erect gait, walks with a quick step ; when last seen wore dark-tweed suit and black hard felt hat, but he may now be dressed differently, and be cleancd-shaved for the purpose of disguise. Supposed to have gone to Waitara or Auckland. He was £5 10s. in arrears on the 27th October last.

William Smith, alias Cox, alias Cocky, is charged on warrant of commitment to Wellington Gaol for seven days’ labour, issued by the Wellington Bench, in default of paying £1 fine and £1 9s. costs for having, on the 4tli ultimo, at Wellington, committed a nuisance in a railway-carriage on the Wellington and Masterton Railway-line. Description : English, a plasterer, sixty-t)iree years of age, 5 feet 6 or 7 inches high, medium build, fresh complexion, grey hair, clean-shaved except short grey moustache, grey eyes with tender lids; usually wears faded light-grey tweed-suit and small black soft hat; slightly stooped when walking.

Thomas O’Brien is charged on warrant of commitment to Wanganui Gaol for seven days’ labour, issued by the Wanganui Bench, in default of paying £1 fine and 7s. costs for being drunk in a railway-carriage, at Eastown, on the 24th ultimo. Description : About thirty years of age, looked like a labourer, about 5 feet 7 inches high, medium build, fresh fair complexion, fair hair beard whiskers and moustache ; wore dark-grey tweed suit and white soft felt hat.

Henry Stewart is charged on warrant of commitment to New Plymouth Gaol for seven days’ imprisonment, issued by the Patca Bench, in default of paying a fine of £2 and costs for being drunk. Description: English, a butcher, twentyeight years of age, 5 feet G inches high, slight build, dark complexion, dark hair moustache and goatee ; wore dark coat, grey-tweed trousers, and drab soft felt hat. He was seen near Kakaramea on the 15th instant, but is now supposed to be in the neighbourhood of Woodville. He may go to Auckland.
