Information is requested respecting Matilda Blue, a native of Ireland, a prostitute, about thirty-three years of age, 5 feet 6 inches high, medium build, fresh complexion, dark-brown hair, upper front teeth out. (See Police Gazette, 1884, page 85.) She is inquired for so that an order may bo served upon her for the support of her child in the Caversham Industrial School.

Information is requested respecting Annie Loughmane, a native of County of Tipperary, between forty-five and fifty years of age, about 5 feet 2 inches high, stout build, fair complexion, dark-brown hair turning grey. It is supposed she arrived at Wellington on the 27th May last by the steamer “ Doric.” She is inquired for at the instance of her daughter, Mrs. Jane Dickison, New Plymouth.

Information is requested respecting Henry Spier, a clerk

or warehouse-salesman, thirty-five years of age, 5 feet 9 or 10 inches high, inclined to be stout, brown hair, thin on top of head, brown beard whiskers and moustache, beard turning grey, blue eyes, high prominent forehead. He left Sydney on the 6th ultimo supposed for this colony. He is inquired for at the instance of his wife, whom he has left destitute in Sydney, with a view of her taking proceedings against him for desertion.

He left Hawera on the 10th ultimo for Auckland, where he was heard from by letter dated the Ist instant. He is inquired for at the instance of his wife, with a view of taking proceedings against him for her maintenance.

Information is requested respecting Albin Villeval, a Frenchman, who it is said has been engaged as a printer in this colony for the last eight or ten years. He is inquired for at the instance of his half-brother, Pelisser Villeval, Beziers.
