Deserting Wives and Families, &c.
(See Police Gazette, 1885, page 149.) The warrant issued by the Dunedin Bench for the arrest of Edwin Lewis, for deserting his wife, has been withdrawn.
Edward Mulvey, alias McEwen, is charged, on warrant issued by the Dunedin Bench, with deserting his wife, at South Dunedin, since the 3rd instant. Description : Scotch, a labourer, forty-two years of age, 5 feet 7 inches high, stout build, dark complexion, dark hair beard and moustache, cheeks may be shaved.

Henry James Richards, charged on warrant with deserting his wife and children, at Oamaru, left Auckland on the 26th August last by the steamer “ Manapouri ” for Sydney.
