Extract from Victoria Police Gazette.
(From Gazette , 1885, page 229.) (See New Zealand Police Gazette, 1885, pages 38 and 46.) Joachim Frederick Hagen was arrested by the London Criminal Investigation Police, on the 30th March last, for fraudulent insolvency, on information supplied by the Melbourne Criminal Investigation Police. He has since been extradited, and now stands committed for trial. £2,000 has been recovered.—O. 705, 7th August, 1885.
