Clerk of Resident Magistrate's Court appointed.
Department of Justice, Wellington, 27tli July, 1885. HIS Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint Sergeant Charles Octavius Hawke to be Clerk of the Resident Magistrate’s Court at Opunake, and Clerk of the Licensing Committee for the District of Opunake, from the Ist August next, vice Constable John Twomey, resigned.
