Extract from Victoria Police Gazette.

(From Gazette, 1885, page 28.)

Inquiry is requested for Robert Hummett, who, in December, 1881, was employed on board the steamer “ Albion,” which was then trading between Melbourne and Dunedin. It was at the latter port the seamen were engaged and discharged. When in Melbourne he lodged at 104, Elizabeth Street. His wife was also here at the same time. Efforts to trace him in Melbourne now have proved unsuccessful. He may be heard of at Dunedin or Sydney. Inquiry is made at the instance of his mother, who writes from Devonport, England, regarding him.—o. 453, 23rd January, 1885.
