(From Gazette, 1884, page 129.) Joseph Thompson is charged on warrant with the em bezzlement of £3O from John P. Carolin, importer, Sandhurst, on the 22nd ultimo. Description: Scotch, about thirty years of age, 5 feet 9 or 10 inches high, medium build, sallow complexion, dark-brown hair beard whiskers and moustache. Has been in the army, and has a very marked military walk and style. Offender was employed as traveller and collector by the complainant. Will likely go to one of the other colonies.—O. 2743.—4th May, 1884.
