Resignations. Constable Thomas William Renwick, No. 443. Constable Augustus Woore, No. 876. Constable John Webb, No. 1627. Constable John Patrick Ward, No. 2555. Rewards. The sum of £5 has been awarded from the Reward Fund to Sergeant Ewen Macdonell, South Dunedin Police, in recognition of his services in connection with the detection and prosecution of Patrick Barry, fined £2O for sly grogselling.
The sum of £lO has been awarded to Sergeant Thomas William Mason, Lyttelton Police, for the arrest of two deserters from the steamer “ Doric.”
The sum of £2 each has been awarded to Sergeant William Thomas Mason and Constables Timothy O’Connor, Patrick McCormack, Thomas Joseph McCormack, and Patrick J. Herlihy, Lyttelton Police, for the arrest of a deserter from the steamer “ Doric,” and for special attention and vigilance in the prevention of desertion from the steamer.
The sum of £2 has been awarded to Constable Timothy O’Connor, Lyttelton Police, for the arrest of two deserters' from the barque “ Rialto.”
