Deserters from Merchant Vessels.

William Finnis Harding is charged, on warrant issued by the Wellington Bench, with deserting from the ship “Oxford,” at Wellington, on the 31st ultimo or Ist instant. Description : English, an apprentice-seaman, eighteen years of age, 5 feet 11 inches high, slight build, dark complexion, brown hair, no hair on face, lisps slightly. He will likely seek employment on a sheep station.
