Incendiarism.
Between 1 and 7 o’clock on the morning of the 31st ultimo the dwelling of Mary Bradbent, at Whangarei, was maliciously set on fire, and damaged to the extent of about £5.
About 8.30 p.m. on the 6tli instant the Kamo Hotel, Kamo, Auckland, the property of David Munn, was maliciously set on fire, but the fire was discovered and extinguished before much damage was done. Three folds of grey lining, about 6 inches long, saturated with sewing-machine oil, were found on fire near the sill of the kitchen-window.
