Deserters from Her Majesty’s Service.
Deserted from Her Majesty’s ship “ Nelson,” at Auckland, between the st,h and 10th instant:—
Robert Aitchinson, a native of Liverpool, ordinary seaman, second class, nineteen years of age, 5 feet 5 inches high, fresh complexion, brown hair, grey eyes, scar near right eye. William John West, a native of All Saints, ordinary seaman, second class, eighteen years of age, 5 feet 5 inches high, stout build, fresh complexion, light hair, blue eyes. John Thynne, a native of Nickel, ordinary seaman, second class, eighteen years of age, 5 feet 7 inches high, stout build, dark complexion, brown hair and eyes. John Adams, a native of Dundee, ordinary seaman, second class, eighteen years of age, 5 feet 6 inches high, very dark complexion, brown hair and eyes, tattooed on arms. James Blackmore, a native of Dulkeal, an ordinary seaman, nineteen years of age, 5 feet 1 inch high, dark complexion, brown hair, hazel eyes, tattooed on left hand.
Michael Roach, a native of Middleton, R.M.A., twentynine years of age, 5 feet 9 inches high, stout build, fresh complexion, black hair, blue eyes. John White, a native of Stouesty, R.M.L.1., twenty-two years of age, 5 feet 9£ inches high, slight build, fresh complexion, light hair, grey eyes. James Robert Paries, a native of Grantham, R.M.L.1., twenty-four years of age, 5 feet 6£ inches high, stout build, fresh complexion, brown hair, hazel eyes, inclined to be deaf. Charles Bowen, a native of Burnham, a stoker, twentyseven years of age, 5 feet 9 inches high, dark complexion, brown hair, hazel eyes, anchor on left hand, no whiskers. John Tilley, a native of Portsmouth, a stoker, twenty-two years of age, 5 feet 8 inches high, fair complexion, light-brown hair, blue eyes, no whiskers. Arthur J. Room, a native of Henbury, eighteen years of age, 5 feet 6 inches high, slight build, dark sallow complexion, black hair, brown eyes. Henry St.iggins, a boy, age not stated, 5 feet 5 inches high, Btout build, ruddy complexion, auburn hair, hazel eyes, anchor on left arm.
John Ward a native of Southsea, ordinary seaman, second class, nineteen years of age, 5 feet 5 inches high, very slight build, dark complexion and hair, brown eyes, tattooed on left wrist.
Edward William Harvey, a native of Woodford, able seaman, twenty-five years of age, 5 feet 6 inches high, stout build, black hair, and brown eyes.
John Flynn, a native of Stafford, ordinary seaman, twentyone years of age, 5 feet 6 inches high, ruddy complexion, brown hair, blue eyes, poekpitted. George Strong, a nati e of Hants, ordinary seaman, second class, eighteen years of age, 5 feet 9 inches high, stout build, fair complexion, light hair, blue eyes, bracelet on right wrist, anchor on left arm.
Charles Hawes, a native of Northfleet, able seaman, twentyfive years of age, 5 feet 7 inches high, dark sallow complexion, brown hair, blue eyes, scar on nose. George Gitsham, a native of Baltimore, ordinary seaman, nineteen years of age, 5 feet 6 inches high, ruddy complexion, brown hair and eyes. Edwin Leed, able seaman, age not stated, 5 feet 9 inches high, dark complexion, black hair, blue eyes, one or two front teeth out, no whiskers, good-looking. Michael Cuniff, a native of Mayo, ordinary seaman, second class, twenty years of age, 5 feet 5 inches high, slight build, dark complexion, and brown hair. John Crunon, a native of Dublin, ordinary seaman, age not stated, 5 feet 3 inches high, fresh complexion, dark-brown hair, grey eyes. A reward of £3 each is offered for their arrest.

Harry Tilby, charged with deserting from the Armed Constabulary, at Manaia, left Christchurch on the 28th ultimo, where he had been employed as an hotel-waiter, saying that he was going to Dunedin, but he cannot be found there. His arrest is desirable.
