His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint the several persons hereafter mentioned to be Keepers of the Police Gaols at the various places respectively following their names : Acting-Sergeant William Brown to be Keeper at Arrowtown. Sergeant Henry W. Felton to be Keeper at Ashburton. Constable Patrick Nolan to be Keeper at Clyde. Sergeant James Donnelly to be Keeper at Gisborne. Sergeant Thomas O’Grady to be Keeper at Grahamstown. Sergeant-Major William A. Kiely to be Keeper at Greymouth. Constable William Coughlan to be Keeper at Hokianga. Constable Richard B. Miles to be Keeper at Kaikoura. Constable William R. McKinstey to be Keeper at Lawrence. Constable Joseph S. Kelly to be Keeper at Mercury Bay.
