Deserters from Merchant Vessels.
(See Police Gazette , 1881, page 118.) The warrants issued by the Campbelltown Bench for the arrest of Hugh Henderson, Edward Smith, and Robert Skils, for deserting from the barque “ Clyde,” at Bluff Harbour, have been cancelled.
(See Police Gazette, 1881, page 126.) The warrants issued by the Timaru Bench for the arrest of Charles Cummings, William Cunningham, and Alexander Bunch or Brench, for deserting from the barque “ Portland,” at Timaru, have been cancelled.
