James Ellis is charged, on warrant issued by the Picton Bench, with the larceny as a bailee, on the 14th instant, at Picton, of a nearly-nevv blue frock coat, diagonal cut; a pair of light-tweed trousers and vest, a white pocket-handkerchief, and a meerschaum pipe with silver ferrule; the property of Mrs. Anna Brooks ; value £4 10s. Identifiable. Description : English, a sailor and bushman, about thirty-five years of age, 5 feet 9 or 10 inches high, stout build, round features, brown complexion, dark-brown hair, sandy beard, whiskers, and moustache, fore-finger of right hand off. May be wearing the stolen coat. It is supposed he has gone to Blenheim or Havelock.

Thomas Robinson is charged, on warrant issued by the Christchurch Bench, with the larceny as a servant, on the 12th instant, at Christchurch, of a diamond ring, in claw setting, value £5; an emerald ring, in claw setting, value £3; and a four-chambered revolver, with patent spring in barrel, which, when pressed, causes the barrel to shoot out, value £2; the property of Samuel Stewart. Emerald ring and revolver identifiable ; identification of diamond ring doubtful. The white blanket, part of the swag the property of Rowland Edwards, stolen off a horse at Te Aute, has been traced to the possession of John Murray, who was arrested for the offence by Constable Denis Brosnahan, Waipawa Police, but was discharged, as the blanket could not be satisfactorily identified.

Identifiable. Suspicion attached to Ernest Muirhead, who was an apprentice on board the ship. Description: A native of tbe colony, eighteen or nineteen years of age, 5 feet 7 inches high, pale complexion, blue eyes, prominent nose, fair hair, no hair on face.

Stolen on the 15th ultimo, at West Melton, Canterbury, a silver hunting lever watch, No. 350067, small round aluminum chain attached; the property of Richard Kemp; value £lO 10s. Identifiable. A lad named Geoi'ge Bell, who resides at West Melton, suspected.
