New DIELDRIN DIPS This season a full range of DIELDRIN DIPS is available from all leading Stock and Station Agents The advantages of these dips are mainly for those Sheepowners who have to contend with „ the fly pest. Dieldrin dips are slightly more expensive than BHC (Gammexane") or Arsenical powders but in bad fly areas the extra cost is far offset by the vastly prolonged fly control they give. They also provide complete control of keds and lice. A sheepowners dip requirements fall generally into one of the following categories: 1. No fly problem but complete kill of keds and lice required with maximum protection against reinfestation. 2. Some fly, not serious but again complete control of ked and lice required with maximum reinfestation protection. 3. Fly a serious menace—maximum protection against it required as well as complete and lasting control of keds and lice. * THERE IS A C.M.R. DIP FOR EVERY REQUIREMENT. WITH EACH A SINGLE DIPPING ONLY IS REQUIRED RECOMMENDATIONS 1. No fly trouble so it is needless to pay extra to control fly. A "Gammexane" or Arsenical Powder Dip will give excellent results at economical cost. 2. Some fly control required so DIELDRIN POWDER containing low concentration dieldrin should be used. This provides complete ked and lice control plus a minimum of 4 weeks "crutch" and 8 weeks "body" strike protection. 3. Maximum possible control of FLY as well as keds and lice is required and IS PROVIDED BY DIELDRIN FLUID FLY DIP. This sensational dip gives complete ked and lice control and also absolute freedom from fly for a minimum of 8-10 weeks "crutch" strike and a minimum of 14 weeks body' strike. Partial fly protection goes on for up to 20 weeks. SHER DIP OWNERS. There is a Dieldrin Shower Dip Fluid specially formulated for use in Showers. It is used at either of two concentrations depending on period of fly. protection required. At 1-300 protection equal to Fluid Fly Dip is secured, at 1-600 shorter protection equal to Dieldrin Powder. At either concentration complete ked and lice control is provided.
