INVESTIGATIONAL work carried out by research officers and instructors of the Extension Division, Department of Agriculture, has shown that there is an ever-widening field for the use of chemical weedkillers. Farmers who should seek advice from their local Instructor in Agriculture on the control of specific weeds will find in the following notes a useful summary of the scope and efficiency of some materials which have been subjected to careful trial.
