This month's cover
This month's cover, which is reproduced from a coloured photograph by Neuline Film Studios Ltd., Auckland, shows the Waikato River where it drives between narrow, rocl(p at Atiamuri, 28 miles south-west from Rotorua. Already the waters of the Waikato River assist in generating the power at two of the main North Island hydro-electric stations, Arapuni and Karapiro. A third station, Maraetai, is in course of construction and when it and the seven others projected are completed the Waifyato River will be harnessed for many miles above its furthest navigable point, Cambridge.
