GALIUM APARINE: CLEAVERS. Colour grey. Occurs with medium frequency in red clover, beet, cocksfoot, and cereals. In dressed seed the hooked hairs are almost entirely broken away. Australia admits not more than 50 seeds per ounce. An annual weed of cultivated land.
