DECEMBER Have you forgotten our subject for the next competition? It is “Our Pets,” and do let me have your entries by January 15, 1943, please. JANUARY Are you going holidaying this summer? I know that petrol and travel restrictions seem to most of us an insurmountable barrier, so I am going to send you digging back into the past for your holiday this summer. What did you do for the holiday that you remember as the happiest you ever spent? I think we all have one holiday that stands out above all the others. “HOLIDAY MEMORIES.” This competition closes on February 15, and there are the two prizes: first 10s and second ss. “MARY,” C/o “Journal of Agriculture,” P.O.
