Dovedale Club's Dog Trials
THE Dovedale Young Farmers’ Club 1 held its annual dog trials on 7th July ,on Mr. C. Silcock’s property. This event is one of the highlights of the club’s outdoor activities, and was favoured this year by the weather. There was an attendance of more than 50. The following is a list of the prizewinners in the various sections:— Head.— Win’s “Glen,” 1; W. _ Kenyon’s “Pat,” 2. \ Huntaway— Silcock’s “Jock,” 1; Carl Davies’ “Scot,” 2. Show Bitch. Burnett’s “Alert,” 1; I. Win’s “Moss,” 2. Show Dog.—-W. Kenyon’s “Pat,” 1; F. Burrell’s “Joe,” 2. Mr. ■F. Hodgkinson acted as judge and Mr., R. Kinzert as timekeeper.
