Utility Poultry for ——— Breeding Purposes OBTAINABLE FROM THE Department’s Poultry-station, Milton, Otago. Purebred birds of WHITE AND BROWN LEGHORNS (single comb), WHITE AND BLACK ORPINGTONS, WHITE WYANDOTTES, WHITE PLYMOUTH ROCKS, MINORCAS, and PEKIN, AYLESBURY, AND INDIAN RUNNER DUCKS are on sale at the Milton Poultry-station. PRICES. The net prices for young fowls and ducks of all breeds are as follows: Cockerels and drakes, 7s. 6d. and 10s. per bird, according to selection pullets and ducks, 10s. each. Coops extra: One or two birds, 25.; every additional bird, 6d. extra. SPECIALLY SELECTED BIRDS: Minimum price, 155., including coop. HOW TO ORDER, Application should be made verbally or in writing to the Manager of the Poultry-station. The breed required, and, in the case of Leghorns and Orpingtons, the variety also, should be stated. The price the purchaser is willing to pay should be given— i.e., whether a 7s. 6d. or 10s. bird is required. The address to which the birds are to be forwarded should be clearly and legibly written. Any particular instructions as to consignment, route, &c., should also be clearly given. Orders must be accompanied by the proper remittance.
