PROPOSED FORESTRY ASSOCIATION.

A movement has been initiated for the formation in the Dominion of an association to promote afforestation, on the lines of the Royal Scottish Arboricultural Society. In a circular advocating the movement, which has been widely quoted in the public Press, Sir James G. Wilson asks those who are prepared to join such an association, and pay, say, a year as • subscription, to send their names, together with a remittance of that sum, to Mr. E. C.
